Day 1: Airport Pick Up
Our guide driver will pick you from the airport and will drive you to Arusha in one of the hotels of your choice. He will also brief you on the entire safari. Enjoy a restful night before you beginning your safari the following morning

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, our guide driver will pick you up and brief you on the activities of the day before departing to Tarangire National Park, this is one of the largest parks in Tanzania and is located in the Manyara region.
It is characterized by the large herds of elephants and tree climbing lions that call it home, as well as the fascinating baobab trees that are renowned for their mythical powers by some of the local cultures.
The Tarangire River flows through the park year around and is the only source of water to the animals during the dry season. After this experience, you will return to your lodge and refreshen and go for dinner and later overnight

Day 3 of 6 Days the Best of Tanzania Safari: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park with an en Route Lunch. You will enjoy a game drive en route. The Serengeti is famed for its incredible wildlife, stunning views and the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Day 5 of 6 Days the Best of Tanzania Safari: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive. This is another UNESCO World Heritage site located west of Arusha in the crater highlands of Tanzania. The area is named after the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park and Transfer Back to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, whose lake Ernest Hemingway claimed was “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”.
The park offers a compact game viewing circuit and is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. The lake itself covers two-thirds of the park and the Great Rift Valley with a stunning backdrop
Over 400 species of birds can be found in the Manyara, including thousands of pink-hued flamingoes on their perpetual migration, as well as other large waterbirds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks
In the afternoon you will transfer to Arusha, where you guide will drop you at the hotel or at the airport if your flight is that very day.

Background Information of 6 Days the Best of Tanzania Safari
Lake Manyara National Park – Lake Manyara
This is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara regions. Situated between Lake Manyara and Great Rift Valley. It is administered by the Tanzanian National Park Authority.
And covers areas of 322 km (125 sq. mi) including about 230 km (89 sq. mi) lake surface. More than 350 bird species have been observed on this lake. Since the 1920, the lake Manyara area was used for sports hunting. In 195, a game reserve was established.
In 1960, it was given a National Park status and in 1974 about 550 ha (1,400 acres) were added to the southern end. The majority of the land area of the park a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift wall to the west and lake manyara, an alkaline lake
Ngorongoro Conservation Area – The Crater
The Ngorongoro crater (260km2) is the most densely populated area in the world. There are estimated 25,000 animals on the crater floor including the big five. The rim of the crater is about 600 meters above the crater floor in the middle of which is a Salt Lake.
At night herds of zebras and elephants climb the edge of the crater and in day time the Maasai herds their cows and goats down into crater allowing them graze on the green crater floor.
Olduvai Gorge
Running 45 kilometers along the rift valley between Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti, this gorge is named after the Maasai word for the wild sisal plant. Often referred to as “the cradle of humankind” East Africa is one of the most important anthropological areas in the world.
Louis and Mary Leakey began searching for evidence of early humans in the 1950s, and in 1974 the well-preserved skeleton of Lucy’ was discovered and has since retained the fame as the oldest human ever found
The Serengeti National Park
This is a Tanzanian National Park in the Serengeti ecosystem in the Mara and Simiyu regions. It’s famous and well known for its annual migration of 1.5 million white- bearded (brindled) wildebeests and 250,000 zebra and for its numerous Nile crocodile and honey badger.
That migration is the largest remaining unaltered animal migration. It contains 1.5 million ha of savannah. The park is the centrepiece of the Serengeti ecosystem and twice as large. The park covers, 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 sq. mi) of grassland plains, savanna, riverine forest, and woodlands.
The park lies in north-western Tanzania, bordered to the north by the Kenyan border, where it is continuous with Maasai Mara National Reserve. To the southeast of the park is Ngorongoro Conservation Area, to the west are the Ikorongo and Grumeti Game Reserve, and to the northeast and east lies the Loliondo Game Control Area.
