Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your breakfast, you will meet up with your guide from our company. He will brief you about the trip and especially the events of this very day. You will then hit the road in southwestern Uganda to the home of the mountain gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

En route, there is a local community popular for making local drums and crafts and a fruit market, make a stopover to admire or buy yourself some of these items for your family back at home or as a souvenir.

Pass by mountain, tropical rainforest the nine-hour journey. You will have en route launch In Mbarara. The drive to the mountain gorilla sanctuary is over 7 hours from Kampala. You could choose to fly to Bwindi if you don’t feel like driving

On arrival in the late afternoon, you will go straight to your lodge and check in. you can use the rest of the day to relax in the lodge compound enjoying the green atmosphere.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The long-awaited day of this 5 Days Best East Africa Safari Holiday Maasai Mara Safari & Gorilla trekking safari finally it’s here. After breakfast, early morning, with your guide proceed for the morning briefing before enjoying the highlight of this safari- gorilla trekking, which may last the entire day.

We trek gorillas through the rain forest and bamboo-covered slopes accompanied by a guide in search of a mountain gorilla family.

You may choose to carry a picnic lunch since the time you have to trek to find the apes is not definite sometimes it might the shortest period of 2 hours and sometime it can go to up to 8 hours.

Make sure that you dehydrate yourself by carrying lots of water it can be that tough sometimes, but in the spot of the silverback, all the tiredness will fade.

When the gorilla family is sighted, you will be guided to within 6 meters of the gorillas, and sit around them for a whole hour while observing them in their natural habitat. Take as many pictures as possible within this granted hour.

Gorilla trekking is unpredictable. It’s difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. The trekking excursion can take 2- 8 hours. Expect to walk long distances in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with the rain

While most of today’s forests are no more than 12,000 years old, Bwindi’s vegetation has been weaving itself tangles for at least 25,000 years, in the process of accumulating a lengthy species list.

This includes a 310 species list. This includes 310 species of butterflies, 51 reptiles, 200 trees, 88 months, and an exceptional 120 types of mammals including 10 primates.

Bwindi is a prime destination for birdwatchers. Its 350 species include seven which are in IUCN red data listed and 90% of Albertine rift endemics, species that are difficult or impossible to see in any other part of east Africa

Day 3: Flight Transfer from Bwindi to Entebbe and Then to Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, we set off from your lodge in Bwindi or Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip where we transfer to Entebbe from here by flight then we board a flight from Entebbe to Maasai Mara in Kenya.

Upon arrival, you will be met by camp staff and take a short game drive on the way to camp. You may opt for evening game drives in the reserve. Later get back to your lodge and rest

Day 4: Full Day Game Drives in Maasai Mara National Reserve

This is another great day because you will have an opportunity to see the big 5 in this full-day game drive.

After an early morning cup of coffee/ tea, before sunrise, you will be able to spot different predators that might make a kill last night.

You will return for breakfast at the camp while the sun rises over the game reserve. You may decide to take a packed lunch to avoid these breaks to have a full feel of what the park can offer.

The secret to sighting many animals in the park is to have as many game drives as possible. A large pride of lions, cheetah, leopard, jackals, elephants, giraffes, African buffalos, eland, ostrich, battered fox, jackals, and black rhino are some of the animals you may spot as you drive around

After that exciting day, you will come back to the camp where you can relax with a cold drink on your Veranda with a view of the Mara River

Day 5: Maasai Mara to Nairobi Transfer

After an early cup of coffee, you will have to experience another for a game drive to see the lions, hyenas, or other predators eating after a successful hunt.
