2 Days Lake Mburo National Park Safari to the smallest National Parks in Uganda–located approximately 200 km west of Kampala/Entebbe; it is a 4 hours drive, this protected area is a home to over 68 mammal species including buffaloes, Elands, Impalas (from where the name Kampala is driven), bush pigs, leopards, zebras as well as various bird species. It is famous for having large numbers of Zebras.

This park has great sceneries raging from rolling hills, lush forests, Savannah grasslands, as well as seasonal swamps to lakes. There are 5 lakes in the park, sport fishing is among many of the water activities that can be done while there, a catch of tilapia and other fish species can be so exiting, large numbers of hippos occupy these lakes. While in the park you might not miss out on seeing the leopards, hyenas, and side stripped jackals in the night.

Details of the 2 Days Lake Mburo National Park Safari Uganda

Day 1: Depart to Lake Mburo National Park,

An early morning breakfast at the hotel in Kampala, after which you will be picked up by our driver guide, he will also brief you more about the 2 day’s safari activities in Lake Mburo and a long. You will later drive towards western part of Uganda through towns like Lyantonde and Masaka. You will have several stopovers including one at Mpambire drum maker’s village to observe and also get to know how the locals make the drums.

On arrival in the park, you will check in as well as have lunch at lodge before you proceed for an evening game drive, along the park trails you will spot various animals such as the elands, warthogs, buffaloes, zebras, and waterbucks. In the evening you will have a boat ride along the lake, a great time having chances to see different animals like the crocodiles, hippos, topis and birds like the fish eagles. Later return to the lodge for diner and an overnight. (Meal Plan on Full Board)

Day 2: Morning Game drive – Safari walk – Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe -departure

Have an early morning breakfast and start off the game drive through the park, it takes 3 hours. This will give you an amazing glimpse of the Savannah and the 5 lakes. You will also see various animals such as buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, topis, hippos, also not forgetting the different bird species on the acacia trees and near the lake making beautiful sounds. After the game drive check out and head to Kampala, having a stopover in Masaka for lunch and also at the Equator for photos as you proceed to Kampala/Entebbe reaching in the evening for your flight.
