Detailed 12 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari Tour
Day 1: Arusha
Your Tanzania Journey starts here upon touch down at the Kilimanjaro International Airport Tanzania. Your Photography Safari Director and Guide ready to take you through your Northern Tanzania safari.
Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire
Depart Arusha, after breakfast, and head out towards the Tarangire National Park. Arrive at the Tarangire national park in time for lunch. Drive through the baobab vegetation on the breathtaking water bodies introducing herds of elephant, gnus, zebra, wildebeest and the colorful bird life. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon rest. The late afternoon is on a game viewing safari to usher in the sunset. Overnight is at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Day 3 of 12 Days Tanzania Safari Tour: Tarangire
Full day is on game drives at the park with an optional picnic lunch to spice up your experience. The park has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem.
It is the only place to photograph the dry-country antelopes such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and the peculiar long-necked gerenuk. Early evening is at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge for meals and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Manyara
You will be treated to an early morning game drive photographing the species within the Tarangire ecosystem. Drive back to your lodge for breakfast before departing for the Lake Manyara National Park with a game drive en route.
Arrive at the Lake Manyara National Park in time for Lunch. Venture out at 1600 hrs. for an evening game drive in search of wildlife within the park. Dinner and overnight is at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti
Depart lake Manyara, after breakfast, headed to the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy scenic sightings en route before arriving at the Serengeti in time for lunch.
Venture out in the early evening in search of the big cats and the herbivores of the Serengeti Plains. Return to your camp in time for dinner and overnight stay at the Kati Kati Camp Serengeti.

Day 06, 07, 08 & 09 of 12 Days Tanzania Safari Tour: Serengeti
You will spend complete days in the Serengeti exploring the park in search of game. Game drives are dependent on the wildlife migration patterns with a scheduled meetup to discuss the next day’s game drive in the evening.
Although the annual wildebeest migration adds to the beauty of the healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the big five-named for the five most prized trophies taken by game hunters.
Natural habitats include savannah grasslands dotted with acacia trees, magnificent rock outcroppings called kopjes, swamps, dense bush as well as streams and rivers.
They provide different opportunities for tracking different animal’s species. Dinner and overnight will be at the Kati Kati Camp Serengeti.

Day 10: Ngorongoro
Depart the Serengeti after breakfast heading for the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Arrive at our lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon rest.
The rest of the day is spent at leisure to relax and review images from your previous safari. Dinner and overnight will be at the Ngorongoro Farm House.

Day 11 of 12 Days Tanzania Safari Tour: Ngorongoro
Start the day with an early breakfast before heading for the Ngorongoro crater. Descend the steep crater to start your early morning game drive at the floor of the wildlife-rich crater.
The Ngorongoro Crater is an “eighth wonder of the natural world,” with over 20,000 animals thriving in its near perfect conditions. It is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area which covers more than 8,300 square kilometers.
Your picnic lunch is at the carter before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at the Ngorongoro Farm House.

Day 12: Transfer Back to Arusha
Early breakfast at the lodge signals your departure for Arusha. Enjoy your lunch in Arusha before being transferred to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area – The Crater
The Ngorongoro crater (260km2) is the most densely populated area in the world. There are estimated 25,000 animals on the crater floor including the big five. The rim of the crater is about 600 meters above the crater floor in the middle of which is a Salt Lake.
At night herds of zebras and elephants climb the edge of the crater and in day time the Maasai herds their cows and goats down into crater allowing them graze on the green crater floor.
Olduvai Gorge
Running 45 kilometers along the rift valley between Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti, this gorge is named after the Maasai word for the wild sisal plant. often referred to as “the cradle of humankind” East Africa is one of the most important anthropological areas in the world.
Louis and Mary Leakey began searching for evidence of early humans in the 1950s, and in 1974 the well-preserved skeleton of Lucy’ was discovered and has since retained the fame as the oldest human ever found
The Serengeti National Park
This is a Tanzanian National Park in the Serengeti ecosystem in the Mara and Simiyu regions. Its famous and well known for its annual migration of 1.5 million white- bearded (brindled) wildebeests and 250,000 zebra and for its numerous Nile Crocodile and honey badger.
That migration is the largest remaining unaltered animal migration. It contains 1.5 million ha of savannah. The park is the centrepiece of the Serengeti ecosystem and twice as large.
The park covers, 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 sq. mi) of grassland plains, savanna, riverine forest, and woodlands. The park lies in north western Tanzania, bordered to the north by the Kenyan border, where it is continuous with Maasai Mara National Reserve.
To the southeast of the park is Ngorongoro Conservation Area, to the west are the Ikorongo and Grumeti Game Reserve, and to the northeast and east lies the Loliondo Game Control Area. Together, the areas form the larger Serengeti Ecosystem
Lake Manyara National Park – Lake Manyara
This is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara regions. Situated between Lake Manyara and Great Rift Valley. It is administered by the Tanzanian National Park Authority, and covers areas of 322 km (125 sq. mi) including about 230 km (89 sq. mi) lake surface.
More than 350 bird species have been observed on this lake. Since the 1920, the lake Manyara area was used for sports hunting. In 195, a game reserve was established. In 1960, it was given a National Park status and in 1974 about 550 ha (1,400 acres) were added to the southern end.

Arusha is a city in East Africa’s Tanzania, located at the base of volcanic mountain Meru. It’s a gateway to safari destination and to Africa’s largest mountain, Mountain Kilimanjaro. It has a population of about 416,442 plus 323,198 in the surrounding.
