Your day begins early with a pick-up from Kigali, Rwanda. This early start allows you to make the most of your day and reach Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda in a timely manner.

Drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

The drive from Kigali to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park will take several hours. You’ll need to cross the border into Uganda, so make sure you have all necessary travel documents and permits ready. The drive will take you through scenic landscapes and offer an opportunity to see the countryside.

Gorilla Trekking

Upon reaching Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, you will undergo a briefing at the park headquarters before starting the gorilla trek.
